I am a general practitioner
who concentrates in the areas of real estate,
wills and trusts, small business planning
& counseling and civil litigation. I was
raised in Rapid City, SD, and received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in History at the University
of Montana in 1975. I attended University
of South Dakota Law School and graduated in
December 1977 with a Juris Doctorate. I am
admitted to practice in all South Dakota courts,
the South Dakota Federal District Court, the
Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United
States Supreme Court.
I
have worked with hundreds of clients for
more than 27 years. I have assisted my business
clients with corporate, LLC, partnership
and LLP creation. I continue to assist my
clients in their business and personal legal
needs after we have established a plan.

I was born in 1968 in
Arlington Heights, Illinois. I graduated
with honors from Eastern Illinois University
with a degree in political science. I went
to law school at the University of South
Dakota, graduating in 1993. I have focused
almost exclusively in representing people
who have been injured or killed because
of a variety of accidents. I have successfully
litigated cases that settled for in excess
of 2 million dollars. I am also an experienced
trial lawyer having won jury trials in excess
of one million dollars.
I am a member of the American
Bar Association, the State Bar of South
Dakota, the Association of Trial Lawyers
of America, and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers
Association.
I am admitted to practice
in South Dakota and Minnesota.
